Microsites give you a powerful tool for marketing your products, programs,
services, events, and trade shows. You can use these mini Web sites to
generate interest and to manage prospect responses from direct marketing
campaigns. When prospects visit the typical corporate Web site, they are
often overwhelmed and confused by the sheer volume of information. Over
half of them never leave your home page. Microsites allow visitors to
easily find the exact information they're seeking, frequently right on
the home page -- with no clutter or overload.
What is a microsite? A microsite is a self-contained small Web site of
typically four to eight pages. Some microsites have a totally different
URL (such as ournewproduct.com). These sites have only one mission to
promote one product (service) or campaign. Ideally, a microsite should
include a database-linked registration form for collecting valuable marketing
data. When prospects visit your micro site and complete the online form,
the Web site immediately transfers their contact information to an online
database for lead assignment, follow-up, and data mining.
If you are having a hard time promoting your new service, consider a
Web microsite. Please call Market Wise if you need any assistance. We
have been building marketing-oriented Web sites since 1998.
